Wizards at War

Have a vague tingle, almost a thought :)) for a board game design. Drawing on the Reedwater campaign and adventures.
Wizards Guild War would be the working title. Each player controls a guild of wizards who vie for control of the various energy sites in the area. They start by drafting to build their guild from the base wizards available.
During the game they use spells and items to make sure the other guilds are kept out of the loop of success. Random events, monsters, combats through pre built combat decks. At the end of the game (one of the guilds gets a wizard to the rank of Elder Brother) the guild who has the most success points win.
Success points are added for Magic Items, Energy Vortices controlled, Number of wizards in the guild, combats won and Political Titles in the guild.
