The adventure asks the question, what would happen if the king never finds the Willow Maiden? What would happen if he were to be accosted and never came to settle? The animals would never get to spring and mate, fish would die in the lakes and rivers, the weather would turn the paths and tracks to deep mud. In short the kingdom would be in chaos.
